Persicaria polymorpha
Impressive large perennial which forms a tight congested clump in the garden of stems up to 2.5m high topped with frothy white flower which is very attractive to nectar insects. Ou clump in the field has been in situ for 18 years and only .5m wide at the base when in growth the arches and spread to about 2m. Hebaceous but has tall dry stems in the Winter.
