 Cirsium rivulare 'Atropurpureum'
A wonderful thistle like plant will produce flower from late spring through to winter if kept dead headed. Have known flower on it in Jan in stockbeds in mild winter. The flowers spikes can be up to 1m in height and a really good source of nectar for bees and butterflys.
