Bletilla striata 'Albostriata 2lt
Ground orchid growing on a strong rhizome system producing short strappy variegated leaves. Flower spikes late Spring early Summer producing lush exotic purple blooms. Part shade and tolrant of a bit of dry but will perfom better in a humus soil. Hardyish but will tolerate pot culture so can be kept in cold greenhouse. If outside mulch and in soil that does not get too wet in Winter.
