 Arbutus unedo Roselily 5lt
Commonly known as the strawberry tree this evergreen shrub/tree has clusters of pink/white pendant flowers mainly in the Autumn for us but sometimes randomly through the year. These are followed by spherical red fruits leading to its common name. Although edible they are not very palatable. Used on the continent especially in Portugal to make a liqueur. This paticular variety has wonderful peeling red bark when mature.
