Melianthus major

Out of stock winter casualty waiting for them to recover. We do have some Melianthus Comosus as an alternative (smaller leaves). Honey Bush. An architectural plant with deeply cut, glaucous blue-grey foliage and brownish crimson to deep brick red flowers. May die down in most winters but shoots again. Max Height 2m to 3m. Max Spread 1m to 3m. Flowers May to July. Full sun. If sheltered enough and mildish winter stays evergreen and with produce spires of red flowers.
