Welcome to Swinesmeadow Farm Nursery - Rare Plants and Shrubs

Now on our 23rd year Swines Meadow Farm Nursery has grown into one of the UK's most specialised growers of plants for discerning gardeners and plants people.
Due to credit card charges we do ask  for a minimum spend of £10

Winter hours. Please note the nursery will be closed for visitors from 22nd Dec until 1st March. During this period appointments can be made if you want to come in and buy plants. This is so we can do essential work on the nursery and also a bit of me time!

Fenland HPS Plant Fair Sunday 21st April 2024 here at the nursery. 10:00-14:00.

The cafe is open but on a self serve basis only beverages and cake available.

Please note that despite the government saying Covid is over it is very obviously not! We ask that when visiting distancing is observed and mask use (especially in glasshouse and tunnels) is advised for your safety as much as ours and other customers and an overstretched NHS.

We are still doing mail order. No money taken until plants can be picked up and sent.  We will update you if you do place an order and will contact you. Please check your spam filter if you have made an order and have not had an automated reply with order details.

We can also do local delivery (5 miles £10 minimum spend) ring order through with card details 07432627766 or 07905540780. Further afield nominal amount to cover fuel and time.

Adam Frost event
Adam Frost eventAn exciting event for the nursery. We have the honour of Adam Frost the Gardeners World presenter and garden designer giving a presentation at our nursery on the 2nd of September 2023 at 14;00. He will be talking on the subject "My life and gardening" which as the title suggests a history of his time in horticulture also will be talking plants and also garden design. Please note this will be an outdoor event with overhead cover so dependant on the weather you may need warmer clothing if cool.
